ACS are considering proposals for a level 6 degree Apprentice Occupational Therapist (OT) programme, delivered in partnership with our health partners. The programme will provide an internal job opportunity for up to 3 ACS staff per year who are currently working in front line roles.

Throughout the programme you will be employed as an Apprentice Occupational Therapist, spending your working week in a combination of work-based learning through ‘doing the job’ and more formal attendance at university. You can find out more about the national apprenticeship standard by clicking here.

We are still at early stages of programme development and in order to develop further, it is important that we gather some initial information from our existing staff who may be interested in the programme. This will enable us to understand the level of interest as well as key information around current experience and qualification levels.

If you would like to register your interest and be updated as the programme develops please email giving the following information

• Your full name
• Current job title
• How long you have been working for the county council in a front-line role
• Highest qualification currently held
• Any qualification that relates to health and/or social care.

Once we have collated this information, we will be able to provide further information.

Many thanks,

Paula Tilbury-Larter (WFD Advisor - apprenticeships lead for ACS and CYP)
